Practical calm, free

A quieter corner of the internet for your mind.

Plain-English resources on sleep, anxiety, and everyday calm — written by a mental health counsellor and hypnotherapist with 15 years of casework experience. No sales pitch, no jargon.

About Quiet Harbour

A place to slow down before you need a session.

Quiet Harbour holds the free, everyday material — the reading, the small daily practices, the plain explanations of why anxiety or poor sleep happen in the first place. It's built for anyone who wants a steadier week, not necessarily a clinical appointment.

It's written and maintained by Barbara Saba, a Fremantle-based counsellor and hypnotherapist. When one-on-one support is the right next step, it's there when you're ready.

Barbara holds a Master's degree in Mental Health, brings 22 years of experience in mental health and counselling — including 15 years in casework — and is 5-PATH® certified in hypnotherapy. Quiet Harbour is where she shares what that work has taught her, in plain terms, at no cost.
Morning Affirmations

Three ways to start the day

One line to read before you pick up your phone.

  1. Today, I will meet whatever comes with steadiness, not perfection.
  2. I have gotten through every difficult day so far. That is worth noticing.
  3. I don't need to feel ready to begin — I only need to take the next small step.
